Dark Skies
*September 2021. Somewhere in Central Delhi, India. *
"Hey there. How are you? "
American accent. Deep residential area. No hotels or tourist places nearby. I made an exception and stopped walking. I turned around and asked "You are American. What are you doing here?"
"I live nearby. Can you support something for charity? I'm collecting for poor people in the pandemic. Small change like 10 rupees will do."
I looked at the conman rolled into a begging man, and waved my phone. "Sure, if you have UPI."
He shook his head. "No UPI. Never mind. Goodbye."
He turned and left quickly. He did not want to be identified. He thought he was anonymous without giving me his phone number.
The next day I made enquiries. His favourite diner owner talked to somebody I knew and spilled beans. American lived in a one-room rental. Ate daily at the cheapest diner called Dhaba. He was broke. Surviving on India's poverty-tier of economy because he couldn't afford America.
In our culture, seeking alms is not shameful. Buddha lived on alms. If American had asked honestly, "I'm broke, I need help"; I would have helped. No story there. But he couldn't do it. He couldn't admit his poverty. So he invented charity for "others." He couldn't give a phone number for UPI as it would expose the lie. American culture had damaged him so thoroughly that he couldn't accept help honestly. Even when desperate. Even when far from home.
That shame, that cultural wound, told me more about America's collapse than any economic data could. An empire that teaches its citizens to lie about poverty rather than ask for help is an empire that has already abandoned them. I had thought it was astray case. I was wrong.
America Needs a Bailout
Chapter 19 revealed the uncomfortable truth. Nearly half of Americans live at global poverty levels. Living wages have stayed below $7.50 per hour since 2009.
Five years after meeting that American in Delhi, GoFundMe's CEO confirmed the pattern. Americans are crowdfunding groceries now. The CEO noted people are "ashamed" to ask for help publicly. Sound familiar? That's the same shame the American carried in 20201
Recent economic analyses confirm the split. America's economy has become K-shaped, with lower-income households crushed while upper segments thrive. Companies grapple with this divide, having shielded buyers from tariff costs temporarily. But economists warn the protection won't last. Import costs must eventually pass through to consumers, amplifying the stagflation already visible in food banks and credit card debt.
America now sits exactly where other nations were before the IMF bailouts. The play-book exists because America wrote it. Target internal weakness. Coordinate external pressure. Strike when the moment is perfect. Now that same play-book may get used against it.
This chapter presents game theory, not a prophecy. There could be other variations. This may not end this way. We cannot predict the future with certainty. But if the coordinated play-book happens, everything moves fast with no time to react.
The Storm Approaches
America stands at the precipice. The empire built by accident now faces destruction by design. Not by foreign armies or nuclear weapons. By the simple arithmetic of abandoned citizens and coordinated economics.
The dominoes are perfectly aligned. Internal collapse meets external pressure. Citizens cannot afford groceries while the government spends trillions on bombs. Meanwhile, every nation America once bullied holds their economic domino ready. Nobody wants American citizens as enemies. This is strategy, not hatred. The world waits for Americans to revolt against their own government first.
The Foundation Cracks
The empire rests on accidental dollar dominance from Bretton Woods 1944. Nixon killed gold backing in 1971. Circumstance made dollar oil-backed currency. Now the government’s debt hits past $37 trillion, which makes the foundation wobble badly. The empire cannot maintain global dominance while bleeding money.Citizens Are Getting Crushed. $30 trillion in weapons while citizens suffer. Dollar’s wealth is hiding citizen’s poverty. Food insecurity rising. Education debt traps expanding. Only 25% believe hard work pays off anymore. The empire abandoned its own people. Forgive me for repeating this again but I have to make sure you have not forgotten the analysis in the previous chapters.
Military Overstre tch Is Unsustainable. Playing both sides in wars for profit. Iraq and Libya betrayals destroyed trust. Hypocrisy Is Poisoning Alliances. Allies are pivoting away. Punishing friendly countries like Canada, Brazil and India with high tariffs while demanding Ukraine support. India's response came swiftly. On October 25, 2025, Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal made clear: 'India doesn't do trade deals with gun to our head.' The empire that once dictated terms now faces public rejection from partners it needs most.
Its partners are tired of double standards and are building BRICS alternatives, silently. Silence is stoic. It appears BRICS holds their dominoes ready. They wait for American society to crack first. When households cannot afford food, when protests erupt, and the National Guard flares up the situation, that is when the external push may come.
Citizens Too Matter
Sarah cuts her daughter's insulin dose in half. The prescription costs $400 monthly. Her husband lost his job when the factory closed. Tariffs made Chinese components too expensive.
Mike fills his gas tank with $20. It barely reaches half full. He needs the rest for rent. His landlord raised prices again. Everything costs more but wages stay flat.
These are not statistics. These are the faces of stagflation. Millions choose between medicine and meals. Between heat and housing. Between work and family. The empire's citizens suffer while their taxes fund wars they cannot afford. Food banks see 30% more families. Small businesses close at record rates. Credit card debt hits $1.2 trillion.
Acharya Chanakya had warned about this. When rulers ignore citizen welfare, rebellions begin. It does not happen with armies or weapons. The empty stomachs and broken promises, do it. This may happen when the President of the USA is on tour of the world to broker minor skirmishes as “peace deals” so that he may get the Nobel Peace Prize.
External Coordination
China watches American families suffer. Russia observes the protests. India sees the food bank lines. Brazil notes the business closures. They wait. Each nation holds their economic weapon. Treasury bonds worth trillions. Trade agreements. Currency systems. SWIFT alternatives. All may coordinate as all are ready.
This is America'sown play-book turned against it. Saddam Hussein tried to price oil in euros. Libya's Gaddafi proposed the gold dinar. Both nations were destroyed. Now the lesson is learned. The difference is this. This time the target'sown citizens revolt first. They are the first victim of empire’s greed.
One Day
Some days are longer than decades. If the coordinated strike happens, it has to be all at once with no time to react. Multiple economic weapons to be fired simultaneously. BRICS announces its gold-backed multiple portfolio currency unit. China dumps $200 billion in Treasury bonds. Russia ends all dollar settlements. India switches completely to rupee trade. Saudi Arabia accepts yuan for oil purchases. UAE is already settling payments in Yuan for India and Russia.
All on the same day. All coordinated. All amplifying each other. Markets crash before p olicymakers understand what happened. The dollar plunges 30% in hours. Import costs explode instantly. Stagflation becomes hyperinflation overnight. This could be a coordinated financial Pearl Harbor. Devastating and designed to prevent effective response.
The world holds their wealth in USD. Its collapse will erode their wealth too. Hence they won't destroy their wealth held in USD opportunistically. But if America's wolf diplomacy becomes an existential threat like asset seizures, extreme sanctions, military escalation etc., the coordination stops being choice and becomes survival. This is the scenario if America overreaches while weak. The mechanism exists. The vulnerability is proven. The trigger depends on choices American policymakers make.
The Emotional Trigger
The collapse begins with emotion, not economics. A single video of a child fainting from hunger. An elderly woman choosing between insulin and rent. A veteran sleeping in his car after losing his home, if he dies from lack of heating. Social media can amplify the pain. Millions share their struggles. The facade of prosperity crumbles. How can an empire ignore its own people? Who benefits from these endless wars? Will this financial sorcery destroy everything we built? Citizens can ask and perhaps may.
The answers reveal uncomfortable truths. Wars enrich elites while citizens starve. Financial manipulation serves power, not people. The empire exists for itself, not its subjects. Meanwhile, ban this book as provocative.
Historical Echoes
Britain's empire seemed eternal until it wasn't. The Soviet Union appeared unshakeable until collapse came suddenly. Both empires shared the same fatal flaws. Just like the Russian Czar, they chose military spending for empire expansion over citizen welfare. They prioritized global control over domestic stability. They forgot the basic contract between rulers and ruled.
America repeats these mistakes with stunning precision. $30 trillion military arsenal while citizens cannot afford healthcare. Global bases while domestic infrastructure crumbles. It imposes import tax with the fancy name of tariff when it produces nothing. It felicitates no new industry, new skilled jobs for such industry, no new industrial sites to house new industry but claims it will boost manufacturing. All Imperial lies to pass another 4 years in dreams. But the pattern is clear. Empires fall when they abandon their people for abstract power.
However, in the previous chapter on Ancient War Science we have learned the pattern. It will soon be time to chicken out. The mighty empire of the USA will chicken out and announce liberalisation or reforms. As I am in final edit, contours of it are already happening with President Trump massaging the ego of President XI and hinting him to formalise G-2 grouping. G-2 is something China had proposed long ago as a formation of two great powers to run the world. A truce of a kind has been reached on some aspects of the dispute between China and the USA. Some podcasters have hinted at possibility of a deal with India too.The Chahbahar port sanctions have have been suspended for 6 months by USA. Are we in the next stage of negotiations and reforms, already?
Watch out and look. We can never be sure of the future. Experts are wrong all the time.
